Welcome to Gladsax Gårdshotell
A small personal and special hotel in the beautiful Österlen just outside Simrishamn (4 km) in the middle of one of the oldest villages with a living environment. With us you can feel at home and just relax.
We have four large and quiet rooms with their own well-furnished patio in the sun. Breakfast is served in our own kitchen or on a sunny terrace together with the other guests. Feel free to borrow a bike, electric or regular, and take a ride to the neighboring villages or the sea for a swim. In the evening you can enjoy the sunset on your own terrace. Our rooms do not have TV but we have books and magazines!
In summer we have several good restaurants in the village within walking distance. While waiting for dinner, we have a boules court and a cozy outdoor room next to it. If we only have time and possibilities, we can pick you up and drop you off at restaurants in the neighborhood. We would also like to mention that we are an adult hotel and welcome everyone from 18 years old and that we cannot accept pets.

Book your room directly on our website and you charge your electric car for free! The hotel is now closed for winter break but will reopen for Easter 2025. It is already possible to book a room now.

About us
Two people with an idea and a desire to live and stay differently. We had long dreamed of creating something together, a hotel. That dream took us from Stockholm to a village in Österlen. We were looking for peace and quiet, evening sun, unobstructed views and a large plot of land for our needs, but still close to services and the sea. Gladsax was our choice and here we thrive well because of the people and the environment. The farm we bought needed a lot of love to become the hotel that we ourselves would like to live in. Now we can welcome you to that hotel.
